Phyllis Ann Patterson

Phyllis Ann (Chandler) “Gran” Patterson, 78 of Slaughters, KY passed away Tuesday August 20, 2024 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born in Slaughters, KY on August 4, 1946 to the Late G. L. and Beatrice (Hawkins) Chandler.

Phyllis was a member of Slaughters Baptist Church. She had worked in retail the most recent being Cracker Barrell. She loved being Gran along with flowers, the beach, chickens and George Strait.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Ford.

She is survived by her son Keith M. Major (Kelly Chandley) of Slaughters, KY

5 grandchildren; Brittany L. (Dylan) Howard, Gabbi N. Major, Bryan (Teva) Chandley, Brooke Chandley and Brittan Chandley.

4 Great grandchildren; Laney and Tripp Howard, Finnley and Josie Chandley.

Brother; G. L. Chandler, JR. of Elletsville, IN

Sister; Pam (John) Marks of Lawrenceville, KY

Nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday August 23rd at Slaughters Baptist Church.

Bro. Brad Tucker will officiate.

Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 at Slaughters Baptist Church and Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Chandler Marks, Justin Jones, Dylan Howard, Eric Blanford, Brandon Scott and Jeff Chandler.

Honorary pallbearer will be Walker Marks.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthonys Hospice.

Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
