Phyllis Darlene Plemens

Phyllis Darlene (Evans) Plemens, 73, of Sebree, passed away at her home on January 12, 2026.

Phyllis was born on March 3, 1952, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to the late Robert Evans, Sr. and Emma Lucille (Epley) Evans. She was a 1972 graduate of Owensboro Senior High School and spent her life devoted to her family as a homemaker.

She was of the Baptist faith and lived her life with warmth, faith, and kindness. Phyllis was known for her love of talking and her vibrant personality—she was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. Her laughter, stories, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert Wilson Evans, Jr. and David W. Evans.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Plemens of Sebree; three children, Jennifer Miller (Chuck Porter) of Henderson, KY, Holly Plemens Carlisle (Chester) of Spottsville, KY and Lee Plemens of Sebree, KY; two sisters, Linda F. (Evans) Clark and Charlotte K. (Evans) Hobdy (Archie) both of Owensboro, KY; six grandchildren, Haily Jones (John), Hunter Plemens, Hillary Carlisle (Justin Bryant), Cayden Carlisle, Jacinda Miller and Jessica Miller; seven great grandchildren, Ian, Braiden, Tenley, Elliea, Lane, Maximina and Emmett; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 PM, until service time at the funeral home.
