Phyllis Ann "Tookie" Putman

Phyllis Ann "Tookie" Putman, 73, of Henderson, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday December 10, 2016 at her home. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 6, 1943 to Earl and Mary Magdlene (Greenfield) Skaggs. She was retired from TJ Maxx and a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 siblings Frieda "Bobbie" Rice-Johnson, Floyd "Sonny" Rice and his wife Barbara, Earl Eugene "Gene" Skaggs and wife Billie, Ida Yvonne "Nonnie" Silkwood and husband Joe, Lawrence "Larry" Skaggs and wife Donna. Survivors include 3 children: Jimmy Putman and wife Heather, Jeffrey Putman and wife Tracey, Lori Putman-Griffin and husband Billy all of Henderson, 1 brother Luther Michael "Mike" Skaggs and wife Pam of Henderson, 1 sister Naomi Skaggs Dill and husband Roy of Evansville, 6 Grandchildren, 4 Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 14, 2016 at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 5540 US Hwy 41 A, Henderson. Cathy Hunt will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday 11AM until service time at the church. Burial will be private. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Animal Rescue. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
