Ralph Wayne Martin

Ralph Wayne Martin, 62 of Smith Mills passed away Friday December 10, 2021, at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born in Union County, Kentucky to the late James and Virginia (Latta) Martin. He had worked for RC Cola and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Ralph enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved living in Smith Mills and riding his golf cart. You could always find him at home watching westerns and scratching lottery tickets. He loved his dog, Festus. Being with his children and grandchildren brought him the most joy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Larry Martin and Donald Martin. Ralph is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Martin; his children Eric Martin (Michelle), James Shelton, Tracey Martin, Danielle Rhoads (Ryan) and Stephanie Pedigo (Cody); his siblings Jimmy Martin, Frankie Martin (Mary), Vickie Patterson (Frank), Diane Shelton and Ricky Martin; sister in-law Sue Martin; grandchildren Cameron, Alyssa, Kayden, Kaylee, Jaxson, Judson and Emma; great grandchild, Jahsiah and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 15, 2021, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor Arnie Wilson and Larry Rone officiating.  Burial will follow in Smith Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 PM- 8:00 PM Tuesday December 14, 2021, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and on Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time. Pallbearers will be Cameron Martin, Kurt Holland, Ricky Martin, Ryan Rhoads, Cody Pedigo, Jaxon Pedigo and Ricky Evans.
