Ralph Glenn Oldham

Ralph Glenn Oldham age 92 of Earlington, KY passed away at 5:17 AM Tuesday November 4, 2008 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. He was born on October 2, 1916 in Greenville, KY to Cleveland and Maude (Medlock) Oldham. He was a coal miner for Island Creek Coal Company and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Earlington, KY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Hilda Stanley and Katherine Kington and one brother Lloyd Oldham. He is survived by his wife Elfreda Newbold Oldham of Earlington, KY, one son Allen Oldham and his wife Karen of Brentwood, TN, one granddaughter Alison Boeving and her husband Ben of Memphis, TN, one grandson Russell Oldham and his wife Kristen of Atlanta, GA, four great grandchildren Davis Boeving, Sophie Boeving, Emerson Oldham, Ansley Oldham and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Friday November 7, 2008 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Bro. Bobby Sellers and Lairy nofsinger officiating. The burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY. The visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday November 6, 2008 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Earlington, KY.
