Ralph Ellard Wilson

Ralph Ellard Wilson, 85 of Corydon, KY passed away at 8:00 PM Thursday November 27, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born in Earlville, IL on November 07, 1929 to the late Elvis and Ruby (Hicks) Wilson. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Local in Owensboro, KY. He was also a member of Dixie United Methodist Church in Little Dixie, KY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruby Wilson (1995), a sister Luella Carter, 3 brothers; Edward, Josh and Donald Wilson and a grandson Patrick Michael Thompson. He is survived by 2 children; Darren Wilson and wife Paula of Corydon, KY Deana Thompson and husband Clifford of Henderson, KY Best friend; Nancy Hester of Clarksville, TN 2 sisters; Buena Hays of Henderson, KY Elna Owens of Davenport, IA 6 Grandchildren; Sean Wilson, Cory Wilson, Mary Katherine Thompson, Lauren Elizabeth Thompson, Joshua David Thompson and Audrey Lynn Thompson. Nieces and Nephews Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday December 2, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Wayne Nichols will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, KY with full military rites by American Legion Worhsam Post 40 of Henderson. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
