Randell Hodges “Daddy Rabbit” Williams Sr., 78, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at home. He was born in Henderson on September 26, 1942 to the late Thomas L. Williams and Delona (Lancaster) Westerman. He was a self-employed custom home builder and received his nickname through his love of drag racing. He loved hunting and being outdoors, especially fishing, winning several Red Man Tournament Trail bass tournaments. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Williams; brothers, Donald “Duke” Williams, Ray Williams, and Thomas L. Williams; and one stepbrother. He is survived by his son, Randell Williams, Jr. of Henderson; grandchildren, Christy Williams-Smith, Michelle Williams, Melinda Williams, Brandon Williams, and Dylan Williams; great grandchildren, Landon, Jordan, Gavin, Hayden, Casey, Aspyn, Damon, Roman, and Julian; nephew, Tim Williams and nieces, Jennifer Williams Terhune and Kim Williams; and one stepbrother. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor Mike Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Landon Mrdalj, John Conrad, Jimmy Terhune, Tim Williams, Matthew Preston, and Jerry Smith.
