Rebecca Jane Rickard

Jane (Baize) Rickard, 82 of Earlington, KY passed away at 6:30 AM Sunday June 21, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Mclean County, KY on June 10, 1927 to the late Leo Edward and Gracie Marie (Belcher) Baize. She had worked in the cafeteria at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville as a server. She was a member of the Island Ford Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J. C. “Chigger” Rickard (1986); a daughter; Barbara Rickard, Son; William Rickard, 2 Sisters; Gurthie Eastwood, Mae Thompson; 3 Brothers; Edgar Lee, Edward and Harold Baize Surviver include 2 daughters; Judy Downs of Earlington, KY Carolyn Lee and husband Mike of White Plains, KY 2 brothers; Lucian Baize and wife Martha of White Plains, KY Johnny Baize of Sebree, KY 2 sisters; Joan Rickard and husband Willie of Madisonville, KY Josephine Gamblin and husband Kenneth of Mortons Gap, KY 2 Granddaughters; Kim Watts and husband Terry of Earlington, KY Becky Stone and husband Anthony of Madisonville, KY2 Grandsons; Chris Lee of White Plains, KY Brad Lee and wife Ashlee of White Plains, KY Several Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday June 25, 2009 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington. Rev. Marshall Lee will officiate. Burial will be in New Suthards Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 and Thursday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
