Regina Gale Snyder

Regina Gale Duncan Snyder, of Dixon, KY went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age of 65 she was under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born in Louisville, KY on July 11, 1958, to the late Thelma Duncan Marple and Harrison Duncan.

Regina is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fairdale, KY. She worked at Carhartt for several years as a Utility Operator. She enjoyed making jewelry and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. God and family were the most important to her. She was a giver and was always ready to lend a helping hand to others. She never met a stranger and was always a good listener to anyone who just needed to talk and she always enjoyed a good laugh. When she loved, she loved with all her heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Carl, Jimmy, and Mark Duncan.

Regina is survived by her husband of 41 years Anthony Snyder of Dixon, KY: Son Robert Lax of Dixon, KY daughter Cathy Blanford (Eric) of Slaughters, KY and three grandchildren; Tara, Tanya, and Tyler Blanford of Slaughters, KY. Sisters Carol Sturgeon (Charlie) of Shepherdsville, KY, Cheryl Duncan of Louisville, KY, Debbie Ann Nix of Louisville, KY, Debra Lee Whitson (Jeff) of Paxton, IL, and Donna (Jerry) Logsdon of Shepherdsville, KY. Brothers Delbert Duncan (Pat) of Louisville, KY, and Michael Marple of Louisville, KY. As well as Pat Duncan, Judy Duncan, and Joann Rutter whom she loved dearly and considered sisters by marriage, and three of her dearest friends Cathy New, Pat Thompson, and Joanie Guill as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would especially like to thank St. Anthony’s Hospice for their generosity and their caring nurses.

Services will be held at 12:00 on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at the Poole Missionary Baptist Church, 9295 ALT US 41, Sebree, KY 42455. Brother David Mabrey will officiate.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.

Visitation will be on Tuesday October 3rd from 4:00 until 8:00 at Poole Missionary Baptist Church and Wednesday October 4th from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Eric Blanford, Tyler Blanford, Tony Snyder, Mark Duncan, Jr., Robert Lax, Bill Duncan, Scott Sturgeon and Delbert Duncan.
