Rev. Billy Eugene Carter

Rev. Billy E. Carter, 88 of Henderson, KY passed away August 20, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born May 18, 1933 in Henderson Co. to the late Robert and Lydia Carter. Rev. Carter was the minister of First Assembly of God.  He had been an evangelist and pastor for over 65 years .He loved raising and riding horses. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Danny Carter .He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Carter; grandchildren, Jennifer Lehman (Steven) of Evansville and Michelle Hope (Scott) of Henderson; great grandchildren, Kelly Battiato (Matthew) of Noblesville, IN, Hailee Hope and Emilee Hope both of Henderson; one sister, Shannon Stauber of Mt. Vernon, IN; sister in law Sue Vada Carter of Henderson; daughter in law, Wanda Carter .Funeral services will be 11:00, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Rev. Chris Manning officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Monday, August 23 and Tuesday, 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home .Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
