Rev. Steven Ellis Payne

Reverend Steven Ellis Payne, 42 of Lewisburg formerly of Henderson passed away Monday October 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1970 in Daviess County to Ellis Ray and Anita Lynn ( Chaffin) Payne. He was an ordained minister and an addictions counselor. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in White Plains. He is survived by his parents: Rev. Ellis Payne and Anita Payne of Henderson. Two daughters: Abbey Yvonne Payne of Henderson Ellie Michelle Payne of Henderson One sister: Sandra Lynn Butler and husband Tommy of Henderson One brother: Terry Ray Payne of Cincinnati, OH One Nephew: Bryce Payne Two Nieces: Samantha Embry and Rachel Payne One Great Nephew: Jacob Embry Several Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and friends who loved him. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday October 19, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be private. Rev. Ellis Payne will officiate. Friends may call 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday and 8:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tommy Butler, Joshua Embry, David Shreve, Bryce Payne, Brent Boling, Scott Boling and Brian Haynes.
