Reva Coomes Holloman

Reva Coomes Holloman, 89, of Hanson, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

She was born in Hopkins County on March 22, 1936 to the late Walter and Wesley Coomes. Reva was married to Jon R. Holloman, Sr. for 60 years.

Reva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Wilbur Coomes and Jimmy Coomes; and her sisters, Kae Fuqua and Glenda Townsend.

She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Kevin) French; sons, Jon R. (Elizabeth) Holloman, Jr., DVM and Russell (Letitia) Holloman; grandchildren, Kristy (Justin) Roll, Wesley (Aeriel) French, Jordan (Kyla) Glover, Heath (Jenifer) Holloman, Houston (Emma) Holloman, Kaitlyn (Kyler) Day, and Craig Holloman; great-grandchildren River Roll, Piper Roll, Gwen Glover, Mackinley Glover, Luke Glover, and Harvey Holloman; brother, George T. Coomes and in-laws, Mike Townsend, Buddy Fuqua, Peggy Coomes, and Wilma Coomes.

Reva was a gifted quilt maker. She met with Happy Hands & Hearts quilt club and was a member of The Piece Makers Quilt Club. She was a long-time member of Hanson Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2025 at Covenant Community Church in Madisonville, KY from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. Michael Knight. Burial will follow at Hanson Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Heath Holloman, Houston Holloman, Craig Holloman, Justin Jones, Steve Fuqua, and Jeff Coomes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Glover and Wesley French.
