Richard Wayne Hogge

Richard Wayne Hogge 83 of Henderson passed away April 17, 2019 at Lucy Smith King Care Center surrounded by his family. Richard was born February 27, 1936 in Taylorville Illinois to the late Robert and Lena Hogge. He was retired as a heavy equipment operator and was a deacon and member of Dupey Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son David Wayne Hogge and his  siblings Kay, Linda, Roy, Earl and Larry.Richard is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Dean Hogge; his children Reva Walden (Michael), Richard Keith and Donald Hogge (Carrie); Grandchildren Andrea, Amy, Michelle, Robert, Matthew, Daniel, Loren, Jessica, Kattie, Wesley, Kimberly, Emily, Olivia and Brian; Great Grandchildren Penny, Daisy, Colette, Zackery, Dain, Spencer, Nonna, Bentley and Levi; Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday April 23, 2019 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Brother Vernon Rigsby will officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00PM- 8:00 PM Monday April 22, 2019 at the funeral home. Expressions of Sympathy can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
