Richard Keith Oakley

Richard Oakley, age 58, of Robards, passed away on July 4, 2024, at his home. He was born in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late John and Margaret (Webster) Oakley.

Richard worked as a Subcontractor for Century Aluminum and AVP. He found great joy in watching sports, particularly cheering on his grandchildren during their Little League games. Richard cherished his grandchildren dearly, relishing in their company and playtime together.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Margaret Oakley, and his sisters Jonika Dawes and Becky; brother, Terry Durham.

Richard is survived by his loving daughters, Krystin Oakley and Megan Latham; his siblings, Jaqueline Payne, Tony Oakley, John Robert Oakley Jr., Donnie Durham, Patricia Swear, Marsha, and Randy Durham; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Kilaya, Abbi, Shauna, and Knox. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, with Pancho Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, Kentucky. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
