Rita Sue Strouse

Rita Sue Strouse of Henderson passed away Monday January 16, 2017 at 2:40PM at her home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice. She was a Barrett High School graduate and was of the Baptist faith. Rita retired from Indiana Bell and was a Member of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed dancing, cooking for her family and her family loved her and her cooking. She was preceded in death by her mother Myrtle Richardson, father Leroy Richardson and 1 son Jon Strouse. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William Strouse, 2 sons: David Stouse of Dansville, New York and Donald Strouse and wife Debbie of Henderson, 1 daughter: Rhonda Fields and husband Terry of Knoxville, TN, daughter-in-law Debbe Strouse of Roundrock, TX, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice or a favorite charity. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
