Robert Earl Bugg

Robert “Earl” Bugg, 85, Henderson died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born May 29, 1928 to Edgar and Ella Mae Bugg. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Henderson. He had worked out of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181 since 1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Ella Mae Bugg and one sister, Dorothy Purcell. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lillian Buley Bugg One brother: Carl Bugg of Reed Three Sisters: Betty Carter of Smith Mills Minnie Meredith of Reed Barbara Whitledge of Morganfield 11 nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at First Assembly of God. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 AM until service time at First Assembly of God. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Ferguson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff Buley, Alex Buley, Preston Bumpus, Glenn Whitledge, Brad Whitledge and Barry Whitledge. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
