Robert Cannon

Robert Cannon, 81, of Henderson, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2025.

Robert was born in Darby, Pennsylvania, to the late James and Henrietta (Drisch) Cannon. A self-employed painter, he took pride in his work and his craftsmanship. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing often traveling across the country in pursuit of his passion for the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Cannon and Patrick Cannon.

Robert is lovingly remembered by his children, Robert Cannon (Denise), Melissa Sheffield, and Troy Cannon; his siblings, Henrietta Hasselman, James Cannon, John Cannon, Billy Cannon, Michael Cannon, Florianne Rode, Marianne O'Conner, Tommy Cannon, and Danny Cannon; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with Brother Tim Shockley officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Robert's spirit and love of nature will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
