Robert Samuel Dagley

Robert “Bob” Samuel Dagley, 90, passed away December 25, 2013 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. He was born May 24, 1923 in Maunee, IL to the late Fred and Lucy (Abshier) Dagley. He was of the Methodist faith, had worked in the oilfield, and in the shipyards, and was an electrician on the LST and he had retired from Gibbs. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanetta Irene (Stembridge) Dagley, a son Roland Lee Roedel, and 2 brothers: Charles “Chuck” Dagley and Marion L. Dagley. He is survived by a son Wayne and wife Martha Jeanette Roedel of Reed. 1 brother-in-law: Jerry and wife Cindy Stembridge of Evansville. Grandson: Brian Roedel Great-Granddaughter: Abbi Roedel Nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday December 28, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Bro. Hal Branson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Friday December 27 and 9 AM-until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Stembridge, David Spainhoward, Brian Roedel, Ronnie Stone, Bruce Mays, and Randy Mays.
