Robert Leroy Epperson

Robert Leroy Epperson, 85 of Henderson passed away December 20, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center.  He was born June 11, 1932 in Henderson Co. to the late John and Elsie Epperson. He was an U. S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Beals Pentecostal Church, an avid hunter, fisherman and archer.  In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife Ines Kathryn “Kay” (Wright) Epperson of 58 years, sisters; Thelma Long and Margie Delano, brothers; James Epperson and Theodore Epperson.  He is survived by 2 children; Brian and his wife Jill Epperson of Evansville, Kelly White and her husband Raymond of Henderson, 3 grandchildren; Brandon White, Kayla and her husband Brad Eadens, Rachel Epperson, 3 great grandchildren; Merick White, Dallas White, Decklyn Eadens, 1 sister; Helen and her husband Garland Wilkerson of Columbus , Ohio, several nieces and nephews.  Services will be 12:00 PM, Saturday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Bro. Garland Wilkerson will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, 5:00 PM-8:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Brandon White, Brian Epperson, Jeremy Eblehar, Brent Eblehar, Brad Eadens and Hayden Norman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Merick White and Decklyn Eadens. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Burial Detail.
