Robert Lee Gay, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Lee Gay Sr., 63, of Corydon, passed away on  Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at home. He was born in West Virginia on August 18, 1958 to the late William Lloyd Gay and Molly (Davis) Trainer. He was self-employed and owner of Bob’s Muffler in Henderson. He loved the NASCAR RC cars and playing softball. He is survived by his children, Christi Gay Laureano (Chris) of Cadiz, Robert Gay Jr. (Kimberly) of Corydon, and Travis Gay (Morgan) of Uniontown; siblings, Paul Gay of Indiana, Lloyd Davis of Tennessee, and Jeri Givens (David Davidson) of Kentucky; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, November 22, at Dixie United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Hobgood officiating. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is entrusted with arrangements. Burial will follow at Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, November 22, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be Bo Givens, Chris Laureano, Wes Bentley, Chase Frederick, Chris Crowley, and Timmy Givens.
