Robert E. Keeper, Jr

Robert E. Keeper, Jr, 60 a life long resident of Henderson, KY passed away at 4:05 PM Sunday April 3, 2011 after a short battle with cancer at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was born July 4, 1950 in Evansville, IN He was preceded in death by his father; Robert E. Keeper, Sr and a Nephew Michael C. Murphy, Jr. . He is survived by his mother; Eva (Long) Tompkins of Newburgh, IN, Sister; Rita K. Murphy of Baytown, Tx, Step sister; Carla Sue Rideout of Henderson, KY and Nieces and Nephews. Currently employed by Casino Aztar, Bob was a 27 year employee of Dana Corporation. He was know as an avid hunter and enjoyed many activities. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob’s name to St. Anthony’s Hospice, New Hope Animal Rescue or Henderson County Humane Society. Services will be performed by the Rev. Jerry Pearcy at 1:00 PM Saturday April 9, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Paul Sellars (Honorary), Terry Murphy, Derek Sellers, Keith Joiner, Allen Joiner, Jeff Oettle, and Wade Wingfield
