Robert Lee Layman, Jr.

Robert Lee Layman, Jr. passed away 8:00 AM October 3, 2013 at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center. He was born November 12, 1945 to Robert Lee Layman, Sr. and Julia Kathleen (Risley) Layman. Robert was a retired machinist and an U. S. Vietnam Marine Veteran. He was preceded by his parents. His is survived by 2 Daughters: Jennifer Chancellor of Sebree and Todd Springer of Morganfield Nicole Clements and husband Brad of Morganfield 1 sister: Mary Sue Simmons and her husband Art of Mortons Gap, KY 5 grandchildren: Trey Chancellor, Joe Chancellor, Madison Clements, Will Clements and Cate Clements. 1 niece: Starr Sizemore 2 nephews: Brook Sizemore and Shane Sizemore 5 great nieces and nephews: Cara Reynolds, Sydnee Sizemore, Bailey Reynolds, Brett Sizemore and Guage Sizemore. Graveside services will be Sunday 2:00 PM at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be Sunday, 12:00 PM – 2:00 pm at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Jerry Brewer will officiate. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Western KY Veterans Center. Full military rites will be conducted by Hopkins Co. Honor Guard.
