Robert Earl Skinner

Robert Earl Skinner 69 of Earlington, died Monday January 28, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville. He was born September 8, 1943 in Cadiz, Ky. Trigg County to the late Lacy Skinner and Ruth Brickey Skinner. He was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister in law, Mitsuko Skinner. Robert was retired from Goodyear and the City of Earlington. He loved to fish with family and friends. He also liked to work on his lawn mowers, tear them up and work on them again. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Skinner, one daughter, Robin and her husband Brent Mitchell of Hartford, Ky. One son Wade and his wife Patricia Skinner of Earlington, one sister Linda and her husband John McGregor of Dawson Springs, one brother Glenn Skinner of Britton, Michigan. He has five grandchildren, Alex (Chase) Duke, Cody Skinner, Makalee Skinner, Will Crofton, Dalton Skinner and one great-grandson, Brady Skinner and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 31, at 2:00 PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home, With Rev Dewayne Camplin officiating. Pallbearers will be Clarence Dalton, Brent Morgan, Allen Stephens, Trent Butler, Charlie McGar, Junior Littlepage and Tony Dukes. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM, Thursday morning until service time. Burial will be in Grapevine cemetery.
