Rodney "Rod Dog" Dale Eversole

Rodney Dale “Rod Dog” Eversole, 62 of Henderson passed away October 28, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center.  He was born October  29, 1954 in Hazard, KY to Joe Eversole, Jr. and Lillie (Nantz) Eversole.  Rodney was a coal miner, enjoyed riding his Harley, watching westerns and working outside in his garage. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters; Twyla Gay, Myra and Christi Jo.  He is survived by his spouse of 18 years; Dawn Eversole, 3 children; Bill Eversole and his wife T.J. of Whitesville, Katie Allinder and her husband Jacob of Henderson, Jason Hancock and his wife Emily of Japan, 1 sister; Lavonna Johnson and her husband Mike of Hartford, 5 grandchildren; Kelsie Eversole, Jonathan Eversole, Tori Allinder, Connor Allinder, Caroline Hancock and Baby Hancock, 1 niece; Christa Tindall and her finance; Jacob Luker, 3 great nephews; Christopher, Preston and Joey.  Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 31 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.
