Roger Carl Carlisle

Roger Carl Carlisle, 68 of Hanson , KY passed away at 7:00 AM Thursday May 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Ashbyburg, KY on May 6, 1945 to the late Ova Craig and Dora (Young) Carlisle. He was retired as district foreman for Texas Gas, Dixie Field. He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran. He attended Old Salem United Methodist Church and was a member of American Legion Austin Collins Post in Sebree. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Ruth Carlisle Stambush. He is survived by his wife; Julia (Eastwood) Carlisle Son and wife; Wes and Kristi Carlisle of Richmond, KY Daughter and husband; Audra and Kelby Tapp of Sebree, KY 3 grandchildren; Carson and Maci Carlisle, Hadley Hodges Sister; Ernestine Carlisle of Evansville, IN Nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday May 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Pastor Chuck Ladd will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Sunday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
