Roger Dale Meredith, 65 of Baskett, KY passed away at 7:55 AM Saturday August 27, 2016 at St. Marys Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born in Henderson, KY on July 16, 1951 to the late Raymond Henry Meredith Sr. and Betty Ann (McDonald) Meredith. Roger had previously worked as a concrete finisher for AVP Construction Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded by a nephew; James Gregory Meredith. He is survived by his wife; Angela Meredith Son; Kenneth Shawn Meredith of Baskett, KY Daughter; Adena Ann Kerney of Evansville, IN Brothers; Robert Meredith Henry Meredith, Jr. Clinton Meredith All of Reed, KY Sisters; Cordia Bugg Minnie Chaney Both of Henderson 7 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be held at 12:00 Thursday Sept. 1, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, KY Rev. Alan Ramsey will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed, KY Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 until 7:00 and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hosptial, Susan Komen Foundation, or Beals Pentecostal Church.
