Roger Hayden Vandygriff, Sr

Roger Hayden Vandygriff Sr., 69 of Madisonville, Ky passed away at 1:07 AM October 3, 2024 at his residence.

He was born in Madisonville, KY on July 7, 1955 to the late Norris Hayden and Crenna Lee (Dixon) Vandygriff.

He was employeed at Berry Plastics in Madisonville, KY, had spent many years as a carpet installer, and was a Madisonville City fireman for 16 years. Roger was an avid poker player and loved his fur babies.

Roger is survived by a son Roger Vandygriff, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Madisonville, KY, daughter Rebecca Berth (Wes Lambdin) of Madisonville, KY, sister Crenna Darnell of Dawson Springs, KY, 3 brothers; Norris (Shirley) Vandygriff, Gary Vandygriff and Todd (Stephanie) Vandygriff all of Madisonville, KY. Significant other Debbie Vandygriff . 11 grandchildren, Taylor (Colton) Robertson, Riley Vandygriff, Addie Vandygriff, Dominic Berth, Julian Oglesby, Cameron Oglesby, Jaidyn Curneal, Laranda Curneal, Audrey Davis, Jaysie Davis and Dryden Lambdin. 2 great grandchildren Noah Berth and Kova Oglesby. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 5, 2024 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Freddie Williams will officiate.

Burial will follow in Slaughters Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Riley Vandygriff, Rick Rudd, Shawn Rudd, Dominic Berth, Wayne Burns, Jessie Starks and Mark Starks.
