Ronald Lee Collings

Ronald Lee Doc Collings, 79, of Henderson passed away Thursday July 21, 2016 at 1:45PM at St. Anthonys Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Eugene, Oregon on March 31, 1937 to the late Norris and Lilly Irene (Fields) Collings. Ronald had been a Supervisor at Electric Wheel and had retired from Accuride and Property Management. He was a US Army Veteran, member of Trinithy Lutheran Church, an avid UK and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Alice Collings, 2 children: Craig Ronald Collings and wife Erika and Amber Diane (Collings) Denton and husband Chris both of Henderson, 1 grandchild Russell Lee Collings, 4 sisters-in-law: Beverly Schuette, Alva Jean Schuette both of Quincy, Illinois, Mona Hoener of Kansas, Dolores Dozier of Louisiana, Nieces and Nephews: Lynn and John Robinson of Berryton, Kansas, Sam and Denise Butler of Michigan, Terry Pelfrey of Louisiana, Donetta Schuette, Cindy Wells and Jeff Schuette all of Quincy, Illinois. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 31 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Henderson. Pastor Mark Moog will officiate. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time at the church, July 31.
