Ronald Lee "Ron" Goldsberry, Jr.

Ronald Lee "Ron" Goldsberry, Jr., 60 of Henderson passed away Wednesday November 9, 2016 at his home. He was born in Henderson on February 16, 1956 to Ronald and Thelma (Hazelwood) Goldsberry. Ron was a retired coal miner from Highland Mine in Waverly and a farmer. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a football fan and avid UK Fan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 sister Evelyn Kay Goldsberry, father-in-law Roy Rowley, 1 grandson Noah Goldsberry and brother-in-law Gobel Rowley. Survivors include his wife Lita, mother Thelma Goldsberry of Henderson, 3 children Ronnie Goldsberry and wife Katie of Owensboro, Leroy Goldsberry and wife Amy of Henderson, Amber Conville and husband Matthew of Henderson, 9 grandchildren Jacob, Isaac, Benjamin, Aaron, Jeremiah and Adam Goldsberry, Preston and Paige Goldsberry and Henry Conville, 1 brother Danny Goldsberry of Henderson, mother-in-law Carolyn Rowley of Henderson, brother-in-law Jeff Rowley and wife Sondra of Cairo, and nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday November 12, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Father Anthony Shonis will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 3-7PM and Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Goldsberry, Leroy Goldsberry, Matthew Conville, Mitchell Hazelwood, Kirk Hazelwood, Kevin Hazelwood and Mike Hazelwood.
