Ronnie Wayne Tapp

Ronnie Wayne Tapp, 69, of Robards, passed away November 15, 2012 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Webster County on May 3, 1943 to Charles Edward and Ester (Polley) Tapp. He was a carpenter and attended New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church in Spottsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Thomas Wayne Tapp in 2004, brother Carroll Tapp and sister Joy Lykins. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Bettye Tapp 3 Daughters: Susan Hurt and husband Wayne of Henderson Jena Haire and husband Don of Reed Nikki Blandford and husband Danny Jr. of Henderson 4 Sisters: Joan Rodgers of Morganfield Anne Francis of Madisonville Charlotte Hammack of Madisonville Marisa Reed of Manitou 2 Brothers: Paul Tapp of Nebo Timmy Tapp of Manitou 12 Grandchildren 10 Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Saturday November 17, 2012 at Baskett Cemetery Bro. Don Haire will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pallbearers will be Damien Hurt, Micah Haire, Kaylon Blandford, Chad Moore, Tony Dixon and Daniel Burden. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or favorite charity.
