Rosie May Vanover Lambdin, 78 of Sebree, KY passed away on July 17, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born in Henderson county on November 1, 1938 to the late Rudy David Vanover and Eloise Elizabeth Vaughn Vanover. She was a member of Geneva Methodist church. She had been a waitress at many local restaurants, she was a homemaker, and a caretaker for Home Health. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson; Anthony Ray Farmer, siblings; William David Vanover, Mary Elizabeth Webster, James Vanover, Nina Deloris Phillips, Betty Joyce Edwards, Donald Eugene Vanover, Phyllis Ann Austin, and James Richard “Sonny” Vanover. She is survived by her husband of 31 years; Edward Lambdin of Sebree, KY, her daughters; Debra Gayle Farmer-Beumer (Rick Beumer), Theresa (Ray) Coomes all of Henderson, KY, Sherry Davenport of Madisonville, KY, her son, Chuck Lambdin of Madisonville, KY, siblings; Eldean Whitledge, Charles Edward Vanover, Margaret Williams all of Henderson, KY, Frances Rone of Smith Mills, KY, and Janie West of Niagara, Ky, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Dr. Bob Hardison will officiate. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree is handling arrangements.
