Rosie "Mammy" Lee Griffin

Rosie Lee “Mammy” Williams Griffin, 92 of Henderson passed away October 25 at her residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born August 11, 1922 in Uniontown, KY to the late James Isaac and Prudie Ellen (Powell) McGan. She was a homemaker. Rosie was a member of the Henderson Co. Sportsmans Club and American Legion Worsham Post #40 Ladies Auxillary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her 1st husband; Raymond Moore, 2nd husband; Thomas L. Williams, 3rd husband Edward “Sonny” Griffin, 2 children; Mary Ellen Moore and Charles Moore, 3 brothers, 2 step-children; Duke Williams and Ray Williams She is survived by her son: Malcolm Moore and his wife Lynda of Henderson Step-son: Randall Williams and his wife Brenda of Zion 10 grandchildren: Kendall (Paula) Faught, Paula (Pat) Cheshire, Randy Williams, Jr., Mikki (Matt) Vincent, Timmy Williams, Kim Adams, Jennifer (Jimmy) Terhune, Daniel (Ginny) Oakley, Jr., Chris (Angela) Moore, Katy (Josh) Raley. 23 great grandchildren 9 great great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Mary Wrye will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 PM Tuesday and after 12:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matt Vincent, Brock Vincent, Chris Moore, Daniel Oakley, Jr., Randy Williams, Jr., Josh Raley, John Moseley and Albert Crook. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or American Legion Worsham Post #40.
