Roy A Mays

Roy A. Mays, 60, of Robards, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at home.

He was born in Henderson on November 8, 1963 to the late Oscar and Evadean (Winstead) Mays.

Roy worked at Gibbs Diecast and enjoyed watching football and UK basketball. He loved to sit in the garage and listen to music, but most of all, he loved his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Oscar “Samuel” Mays and Alan Tanner Mays, and his brother, John Mays.

He is survived by his daughter, Mollie Mays; siblings, Brenda Caton (Bill), Owen Mays (Edythe), and Darrell Mays; sister-in-law, Diana Golday; aunt, Catherine (Winstead) Calhoun; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor Matt Fulkerson officiating.

Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 19 from 11 a.m. until funeral time.
