Ruby Clara Gish

Ruby Clara Gish, 88 of Newburgh formally from Henderson passed away October 8, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Ruby was born in Henderson to the late Andrew Jackson and Ruby Dee (Phillips) Harris. She had worked as an office manager for Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

She enjoyed playing cards, listening to the Bee Gees, crocheting, sewing and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Marion Earl Gish; brothers Darrell Harris, John Harris, and Rufus Harris; sister-in-law Nancy Harris and her grandson Alex Gregory.

Ruby is survived by her children Troy Gish (Lisa), Tammy Hancock, Rick Gregory and Jack Gregory (Peggy); grandchildren Chrissy Miller (Nate), Derek Hancock (Katie), Amanda Morris (Jeremy), Alicia Jenkins (Bobby), Angelia Balthrop (Jay), Andrew Adams, Elizabeth Gibson (Josh), Joseph Ditterline (Charity) and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday October 12, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home with Brother Jason Cowan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Wednesday October 11, 2023, and Thursday 9:00 AM until service time the funeral home.
