Ruby Francis “Frannie” Romans, 70, of Henderson, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at home.
She was born in Chicago, IL on April 1, 1955 to the late Leonard E. and Mildred J. (Dukes) Linville.
Ruby was a retired line worker from Tyson and found joy in watching supernatural programs, cooking, and crafting, especially diamond art. She adored dolphins and filled her home with cherished dolphin keepsakes. One of her dearest dreams was to swim with them—though she never made the trip, the spirit of that dream lingers in the hearts of those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William “Billy” Earl Linville; and her ex-husband and dear friend, Bob Romans.
Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Callahan and Wendy’s sister, Sabrina Hammons; grandchildren, Isaac Farmer and Lauren Gibbs; siblings, Diane Hobbs of Henderson, Jenny Inman of South Carolina, James Linville of Madisonville, and Michael Linville of Evansville; long time companion, Jesus Moreno; along with several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by Mackenzie Callahan, whom she loved as a granddaughter and her beloved granddog, Doodle Bug.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 16 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Jason Cowan officiating.
