Rudy Givens Jr.

Rudy Givens Jr., 80, of Corydon Ky. passed away September 1, 2018 at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.He was born on October 17, 1937 to the late Rudy and Thelma (Hoskins) Givens Sr. Rudy Had worked in the oil field as a tester and attended Dixie United Methodist Church. He enjoyed camping, gardening, piecing and quilting and an avid U.K basketball fan. Most importantly he loved his family and Grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Mark Allen Givens; siblings; Agnes McCalahan, Rita Givens, Eugene Givens, Jessie Givens, Wayne Givens and a Great Grandson Gavin Tapp. Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Eula Givens; his children Dale Givens and his wife Robin and Charlotte Critser and her husband Steve; his sister Dorothy Gibson; 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great- Great grandchild and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Jarrett Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Tuesday and on Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eric Critser, Ryan Critser, Lance Critser, Bryan Duncan, Kyle Young, Lindsey Givens and Tyler Holmes. Memorial contributions can be to St. Anthony Hospice or Dixie United Methodist Church.
