Russell Allen Jones

Russell Allen Jones, 78 of Henderson passed away peacefully at his home January 2, 2022. He was born October 23, 1943, in Woodstock Illinois to the late Ralph and Pearl (Wilson) Jones. He was retired from Alcan after 30 plus years. He was a talented basketball player. In high school, he helped take Henderson County High School to the 1961 Championship. He was a loving and generous husband, father, son, and brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife Donna Jones. Russell is survived by his beloved children Shawna Jones, Derrick and Cheryl Jones and Blake Jones all of Henderson; grandchildren Elisabeth Jones, Cassie Jones-Lyons and Daxton Jones. A life celebration will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson to help the family with funeral expenses.
