Ruth Ann Anderson

Ruth Ann Anderson, passed away on July 26, 2026, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1957, in Henderson, KY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Estil and Cathrynn Lynn.

A devoted homemaker and a member of Airline Baptist Church, Ruth embodied warmth and kindness, filling her home with love and laughter. She had a zest for life that was reflected in her many passions. Whether it was watching movies, listening to her favorite country music, indulging in meals at the Mandarin House, or feeling the thrill of riding motorcycles with her beloved husband, John, Ruth's spirit thrived in the joy of family moments. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Kevin and Russell Lynn, and her sister, Alice Balke. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, John Anderson, and her vibrant legacy continues through her children: Victoria Anderson (Tyler York), Amber Anderson, Christopher Snodgrass, Charles Snodgrass (Shara), and Christina Hopper. Ruth also leaves behind her siblings, Sharon Wright, James Lynn, Charles Lynn, and George Lynn, along with six adoring grandchildren: Logan Matthew York, Savannah Snodgrass, Dalton Snodgrass, Mikey Price, Beth Cummings, and Tiara Mosier.

A private service to honor her memory will be held, allowing family and close friends to celebrate her life and reflect on the beautiful moments they shared. Arrangements are being handled by Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.
