Ruth Alice Cole

Ruth Alice Cole, 75 of Sebree, KY passed away on March 21, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. She was born on December 4, 1941 in Morganfield, Kentucky to the late Gene Powell and Lizzie Hailman Powell. She was a member of New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY. She was a UK wildcat fan, she enjoyed looking at lighthouses on the water, and she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband; Sammy Cole of Sebree, KY, her children; Gary (Janet) Cole of Sebree, KY and Kevin (Christa) Cole of Dixon, KY, her grandchildren; Emily (Kyle) Baird and Christi Robinson, great grandchildren; Katelynn Cole, Bryar Baird, and Adalyn Robinson, and two sisters; Farris (Mike) Fast of Houston, TX and Norma Jean Powell of Henderson, KY. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree. Brother Dewayne Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 4-8 pm and on Friday from 11:00 until service time.
