Ruth Edna Rash Fox, 90, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was born June 20, 1921, in Mortons Gap to Warren Washington and Mary Elizabeth Farmer Rash. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Mortons Gap. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Fox; one son, Roy Earl; an infant daughter, Rita Kaye Fox; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Vanita Nell Goff and her husband, Chester, of Sebree; four sons, John Fox and his wife, Judy, of Hartford, Leon Fox and his wife, Hilda, of Nortonville, Ricky Fox and his wife, Sabrina, of Nortonville and Timothy Fox and his wife, Sarah, of Dawson Springs; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington with the Revs. Terry Barnes and Travis Fox officiating. Her burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap. Her visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Timothy Fox, Michael Fox, Jamie Fox, Leslie Fox, Shane Scott and Josh Solise. Donations may be made to the Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
