Ruth Ann Gibson

Ruth Ann (Bowley) Gibson, 69 of Bluff City, KY passed away at 6:17 AM Friday January 31, 2014 at her son’s home in Bluff City. She was born July 3, 1944 in Dixie, KY to the late Luther Franklin and Hazel Lee (Givens) Bowley. She was retired as medical records clerk at Medco in Henderson and a member of DuPey Baptist Church in Bluff City. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orville Franklin Gibson 2 brothers; J.D. Bowley and Thomas E. Bowley. She is survived by 3 sons; David Allen Gibson of Reed, KY Paul Keith Gibson of Bluff City, KY Gary Neil Gibson of Bluff City, KY 2 sisters; Margaret Thurby of Henderson, KY Teresa Mt. Pleasant of New York 3 brothers; Marvin Bowley of Henderson, KY Paul Bowley of Henderson, KY Donnie Fowler of Henderson, KY 4 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be held Monday February 3, 2013 at 12:00 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Randall Hurt will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Hebbardsville, KY Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral Home Pallbearers will David Gibson, Joshua Gibson, Donnie Fowler, Johnny Terry, Jessica Gibson and Herman Holder.
