Ruthie Deane O'Nan

Ruthie Deane O’Nan, 92, of Henderson, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in her home.

She was born March 16, 1930 to Arthur and Bertha (Muntz) Justice.

She was a retired seamstress. She was devoted to serving the Lord and was a member of Hyland Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, William Loman O’Nan; her son, John O’Nan; and her siblings, James, Jairl, Ira, Martha, Virginia, Aria, Sterling, Lou, William, and Roxie.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Jeff) Rideout; daughter in law, Shelle O’Nan; five grandchildren, Justin Anderson (Meredith), Bethany Miessner (Peter), Kathryn Clark (Erick), Kristin Bean (John), and Kevin O’Nan (Liz); 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her caretaker, Ann Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held at Hyland Baptist Church in Henderson on Friday, March 17 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Kidd officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson on Thursday, March 16 from 4-8 p.m. and at Hyland Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Rideout, Justin Anderson, Hunter Anderson, Brent O’Nan, Peter Miessner, and Erick Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hyland Baptist Church Building Fund and/or St Anthony’s Hospice.
