Sadie B. Agnew

Sadie B. Agnew, 94, of Henderson, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Center. She was born in Robards on March 22, 1928 to the late Herbert Emory and Sadie Muriel (Feast) Gibson. Sadie retired after 22 years from Precision Prestressed – Hydro Conduit in 1989 as a bookkeeper. She graduated from Spottsville High School in 1946 and Lockyear Business College in 1948. She was a member of Advance Baptist Church over 70 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, William Ray Agnew and sister, Rosemary Ritchie. She is survived by her children, Shelia Patterson, Linda Butler (Allen), Norma Daniel (Steve), William E. Agnew (Kathy Gish), and Brenda Agnew, all of Henderson; five grandchildren, Craig Daniel, Cory Agnew, Brandon Agnew, Alec Agnew, Chad Patterson, and Alicia Nelson; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastors Jerry Barron and Ellis Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Baskett Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, June 27 and on Tuesday, June 28 from 10 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Craig Daniel, Chad Patterson, Cory Agnew, Brandon Agnew, Alec Agnew, Andrew Nelson, and Allen Butler. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Advance Baptist Church.
