Samuel Phillip Powell, 63, of Henderson passed away Monday March 17, 2014 at his residence. He was self-employed and of Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Audie C. and Bonnie M. (Coffman) Powell, 2 half-sisters and 1 half-brother. He is survived by 3 children: Phillip Cannon of Corydon Sandy Boone of Des Moines, Iowa Sammy Duncan of Georgia Step-children: Tim Cannon of Corydon Tammy Craig of Henderson Half-sister: Linda Wilkerson of Zion 7 Grandchildren 3 Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews A life celebration memorial will be held 2:00 PM Saturday March 22, 2014 at Victory Christian Center. Rev. Jack Ross will officiate. Burial will be private. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Saturday at the church. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangments.
