Sandra Lee Frey

Sandra Lee Frey, 84, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Oak Hill Senior Facility in Waterloo, IL under the care of Promedica Hospice.

She was born in Louisville, KY on October 6, 1938 to William Walton and Autie Moore.

As a girl, she danced ballet and loved the theater. Some of her fondest memories were of spending summers with her grandparents in Dawson Springs. She later became a dental hygienist until wedding James Frey and moving to Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy, and her husband of 58 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Chantah Allen and husband Dan of Moro, IL, Jada VonBokel and husband Tom of Smithton, IL; four grandchildren, Matthew Allen and wife Danielle, Elliot Allen all of Louisiana, Madeline VonBokel of San Diego, CA, and Olivia VonBokel of San Francisco, CA.

Burial will be private.
