Sandra Kaye Nunley

Sandra Kaye Nunley, 75, of Henderson, passed away peacefully at home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born and raised in Henderson to the late, Lambert and Irene (Harris) Nunley. She was Baptized as a young teenager at IBT. Sandra retired from Henderson County School System where she was a teacher for Audubon and Jefferson Elementary. Once she retired, she worked at the Henderson County Attorney’s office. She also enjoyed volunteering at Red Cross and CASA. Sandra loved to travel the world, if you name the country, she probably stepped foot there.

Sandra’s memory will live on through the hearts of her sisters, Terra Hurt McCuistion (Max) of Todd County, Nanette Nunley Stearman of Henderson; her nephews, Landon Scott Hurt (Amanda) of Todd County, Paul Wayne Stearman (Chrissy) of Henderson; great-niece, Ava, and great-nephew, Eric.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Rick O'Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM until service time.

Pallbearers will be Scott Hurt, Paul Stearman, RJ Koonce, Austin Koonce, Jeff Koonce, and Kyle Watkins.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Henderson CASA.
