Sarah Ann Stone

Sarah Ann Stone, 89, of Henderson passed away on Sunday April 2, 2017 at Henderson Nursing and Rehab. She was born on January 17, 1928 in Baskett, KY to Thomas L. and Sarah Hunter. Sarah was a member of Corydon Holiness Church and Poole Homemaker's Club for 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Hugh A. Stone, and 2 sons: Larry A. Stone and Hugh E. Stone. She is survived by 1 son Steve R. Stone (Donna) of Henderson, KY; 2 daughters: Dianne Roy (Donald) and Cheryl Stone (David) both of Corydon; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. David Stone, Sr., Rev. David Stone, Jr., and Rev. Scott A. Stone officiating. Pallbearers will be Tom Stone, Jim Stone, Mitchell Stone, Rev. David Stone Jr., Anthony Roy, and Donald Roy. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ben Stone. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5:00PM-8:00PM and Wednesday 9:00AM-10:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery.
