Scott Allen Vaughn

Scott Allen Vaughn, 60, of Henderson, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 28, 2025. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 16, 1964, to the late Philbert and Frances (Sandefur) Vaughn.

Scott previously worked at Surgical Solutions as an SPD Tech and found joy in reading the Bible, watching television, and listening to gospel music. Singing was his true passion, and he cherished his beloved pets - his cat, Happy, and his dog, Boss. More than anything, his grandchildren brought him the greatest happiness.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shelly Vaughn Barker Stinson.

Scott is survived by his children, Joshua Vaughn and Daniel Vaughn; two grandchildren, Kevan Daniel Vaughn and Elayna Claire Vaughn; his sister, Traci Cingle; nieces and nephew, Lisa (Alex) Kellen and Eric (Kate) Stinson and Hayli Jo Cingle; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, May 1, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Scott's love for his family, his faith, and his music will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his song continues in the memories we hold dear.  "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7
