Shanna Lynn Pippin Priest, 54, of Henderson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
Shanna was born on April 24, 1972, in Henderson, Kentucky, to William “Bill” D. Pippin, Jr. and the late Kuma Kay Pippin (Marrett).
Shanna attended Henderson County High School and earned her GED. She enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, boating, thrift shopping, attending yard sales, riding in the country, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Shanna worked as the Hallmark coordinator at Barry’s Pharmacy for a number of years and later as a dedicated caregiver for several elderly individuals, including her father.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kuma Kay Pippin; her aunts, Sue Annette Sanders, Ethel Mae Grisham, and Brenda Gail Weimer; her uncles, Roger R. Sanders and Steve W. Weimer; and her grandparents, William D. Pippin, Sr. and Nellie Jane Pippin (Duncan), and Junius Elmore Marrett and Sue Elizabeth Marrett (Purcell).
She is survived by her husband, Tony Priest; her father, William “Bill” D. Pippin, Jr.; her cousins, Duane Marrett (Carrie) and their son Shane Marrett, and Michelle Webb (Chuck); her aunt, Kim Pippin; her close friends, Teresa Lynn (Chuck) and Amy Anglin; her bonus daughters, Alexus Breeann Gish and Elizabeth Gish; along with many other cousins and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with Rev. Glenda Walden officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home.
