Sharon Allen Sharon Allen age 69 of Madisonville, KY formerly of Earlington, KY passed away at 1:45 p.m. Friday 02-18-11 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. She was born May 19, 1941 in Madisonville, KY to Horace and Mana Russell Miller. She was a member of the Earlington First Baptist Church and a member of the Women’s Sunday School Class. She was a retired postal worker where she served 21 years and having served 14 years as postmaster of Mortons Gap, KY. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tommy Allen of Madisonville, KY, her mother Mrs. Horace Miller of Madisonville, KY, one son Russell Allen and his wife Shannon of Hanson, KY, one daughter Andrea Deal and her husband Mike of Madisonville, KY, one brother Mike Miller and his wife Vickie of Madisonville, KY, two grandchildren Drew Allen and Rebecca Allen, two step-grandchildren Allissa Deal and Erin Deal, one nephew Chase Miller, one niece Ann Miller and several uncles and aunts. Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday 02-21-11 at the Earlington First Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Sellers and Bro. David Simpson officiating. Her burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. Her visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday 02-20-11 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington and from 10:00 a.m. until the service time Monday at the Earlington First Baptist Church.
